Welcome to the Jontell Vanessa Photography blog!

SOLD! Today’s blog post is all about how real estate agents can craft the perfect branding session. Additionally, a lot of these tips can also apply to real estate brokers, real estate developers, and many brands in the real estate industry.

When it comes to content, many real estate agents use photos of the various properties they’re selling. However, brand photos that showcase your unique personal brand are important to your marketing strategy too. Your collection of brand photos will help you show up consistently across all of your marketing channels, resulting in more connections to buyers and sellers!

Locations

Start by considering a well curated space. This can be a studio, a model home, a Home Studio List rental, or even your home office. Location is important for any session, but real estate agents have a unique opportunity to take photos in a setting that reflects the type of properties they list. Not only are you building consistency in your brand, but you’re also giving clients a better idea of your overall style.

Ideas: Pick a space that aligns with your brand colors and style

Outfits

A great outfit will help your photos feel personal and true to life. Think of how you want to present yourself to your clients. Then, focus on pieces that will help showcase that style well. You likely already have pieces in your closet that would work great for your brand session. Based on your location, consider outfits that showcase your personality and connect to your brand’s tone.

Ideas: Consider one business formal outfit and one outfit that you’d likely wear to a showing or client meeting

Prop Ideas

Don’t be afraid to think outside of the box. Some prop ideas for real estate agents include work materials, keys (a branded key is a nice touch), and home decor elements. Consider including people on your team or pets too! Below you’ll see a photo from Sarah’s session where we included her dog. I love that this photo serves as a reminder of the life her clients will build in the homes she’s selling.

Ideas: I encourage all real estate agents to incorporate celebratory props; we can use them to capture images that you can post when you make an exciting sale!

Activities

Lastly, we have to put all of those props into action! Focusing on key activities during your session will bring a storyline to your images and make them easier to use in your marketing plan. Activities that real estate agents can highlight during a brand session include behind the scenes client work, prepping for a showing, or celebrating with clients. Also, strong lifestyle headshots will be a key focus of a real estate professional’s brand session.

Ideas: Focus on how you can put your behind the scenes work into photo concepts that give your clients an inside look at your overall process.

I hope these brand photography ideas for Real Estate Agents were helpful! Interested in learning more about how to craft a brand session that will grow your business? Send me a message and we’ll work together to elevate your brand!

She was so easy and calming to work with, as it was my first branding session. She led me throughout the way and the images are perfect! “

"I am certain that because Jontell got to know me and my brand up front, it allowed her to capture exactly what I wanted.
