honestly don’t think words can accurately describe Shannis & Dave’s wedding day. It was one of those “you just had to be there” events! But luckily, there are so many photos that give glimpses into the love and joy that surrounded these two during their late September wedding at Morais Vineyards.

There’s no secret that Morais Vineyards is one of my favorite venues in VA. Ashley & Corey are getting married at Morais next year and decided to capture their engagement photos on the property.

I had a ton of fun spending the afternoon with Shannis & Dave at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Northern Virginia! We had great weather and gorgeous Fall colors to accent their engagement photos.

I love how Richmond engagement sessions allow for the perfect mix of both causal and classy backdrops. Andrea suggested the murals for their first location in their casual attire and I love how well the colors work together. Then, we popped over to the State Capitol Building where these two looked like celebrities. Thiel had a personalized tux that was complemented perfectly by Andrea’s sparkly gold gown

ake a second to pop over to the photos application on your phone. How many photos do you have? A few hundred? Maybe even a few thousand? I have 1,194. If you’re like me, those photos just sit on your phone until a random moment when you go searching for a random memory. Keeping an album on your phone is great because you have all of your pictures easily saved in one central location. However, don’t let an Instagram picture with a few hundred likes be the last time your photos see the light of day. Print them. Printing your photographs is a quick, easy way to take advantage of your memories. You can frame your prints, use them as bookmarks, or send them to friends far away at college.
