As a business owner, it’s easy to get wrapped up in the administrative side of things; I love that this shoot gave me a chance to be creative, build my skills, and just have fun. Also, who doesn’t love a good DIY peony flower crown?

Shontell, Aubree, Alexis & Alysse | Class of 2017 | Charlottesville, VA

The beautiful weather (70 degrees in February!!!) and perfect light made the wait for this session worth it! I’m so glad I had the chance to photograph these two in one of my favorite Charlottesville locations – The Rotunda is always the perfect backdrop.

Enjoy some of my favorites from their session!

As you’ll see when you scroll down, Jess suggested a few romantic comedy movie cover poses and they just may be some of my favorites shots from the session. We’ll definitely have to recreate them at their wedding in June!

Enjoy some of my favorites from their Richmond engagement session!

Jessica & Tyler | Downtown Richmond Engagement Session

It’s engagement (session) season and I LOVE it! I love having the chance to meet and learn more about my all of my sweet 2016 + 2017 couples. This engagement session took place at a stunning private farm just outside of Charlottesville. As you all know by now, I’m obsessed with mountains. Well, this location had mountain views all over, but to top it off, there was a pool overlooking the mountains. It was paradise! Lucky me, I had the chance to photograph one of my 2016 couples at this location.
