Maritza and Ruben said their vows in the beautiful gardens of Carlyle House in Old Town Alexandria. Although, the streets outside of Carlyle House were incredibly busy from a local event that was happening, the gardens provided the perfect peaceful escape in the midst of the craziness.

UVA’s classes started last week and as a recent (and very nostalgic) grad, I wanted to do a small post that highlighted running a small business in college. What if I told you that you can plan an engagement session during any season and it will look beautiful, dreamy, and romantic?

Well, with the recent summer heat wave in Virginia, I’ve had a few couples asking what about the BEST season for their engagement session. Everyone loves Fall colors and Spring temperatures. However, you can really make any season work with the right outfit and perfect timing. 

Anyone who knows Katie & Matt would know their wedding day perfectly represented their personalities. They welcomed their friends and family into their lives for a fun, easy-going day full of unique touches. From saying their vows in the chapel of The Haven, to turning McGuffey’s outdoor lawn space into a lounge area for their guests to relax and be together throughout the evening – everything was perfect and uniquely designed to bring people together. 

Emma and Harrison’s cloudy wedding day was filled with joy! The Hamilton soundtrack was on a loop in both of the getting ready suites. Emma tearfully wrote a love note to Harrison shortly after stepping into her bridal gown. Snow lightly began to fall just before the ceremony (yes, I said it was spring wedding. Welcome to Virginia!).

This elegant Disney themed wedding at Morais Vineyards in Bealeton, Virginia was an absolute dream!
