As a former wedding photographer, I love getting to craft brand sessions for other wedding photographers! After eight years, I have a unique understanding of the type of imagery wedding photographers need to communicate with their ideal couples.
When Alex and Suzanne reached out, I immediately started thinking of ideas to bring the heart of their brand to life. I popped over to their website and fell in love with their authenticity and loving energy. Their session was so fun! These two fall into each other so naturally, and I love seeing how their own love story is reflected in the care and attention they give their couples.
A few of our goals for their session:
- Capture some fun Valentine’s Day content: We focused on specific content they’d need for the upcoming months which gave us the perfect opportunity for V-day content photos. Their jobs are all about celebrating love so these images felt perfect for their brand!
- Some lovey dovey photos: Ok, it wasn’t named this on our shot list, but that feels fitting! Alex and Suzanne are what I would describe as madly in love AND that happens to be part of their business tagline. My biggest goal was to capture images that made people feel that joy.
- Photos that highlight their new offerings – As if they weren’t cool enough already, Alex and Suzanne are adding new services to their offerings this year. I love that we got to highlight their new video offering during their session (and the drone shots were some of my favorites!). These were combined with other basic headshots and workspace images.
