It’s HERE! The new Jontell Vanessa Photography online home is LIVE! 

I can’t believe I started this business almost eight years ago! Over the past eight years, JVP has grown in ways that I never could have imagined back in 2014. At the end of 2020, I started feeling a shift in the type of work I wanted to create and the ways that I wanted to serve my clients. The brand that I dreamed up in 2014 served me well for the past several years, but it is time for a change as I continue to move my business in a new direction.

So what’s changing? I’m glad you asked, I would love to tell you!

• As of 2022, Jontell Vanessa Photography officially specializes in lifestyle brand and product photography. I do still offer other types of photography on a very limited basis, but I no longer specialize in wedding photography (more on that in another blog post, I promise). 

I’ve been putting together the pieces of this rebrand for almost six months – and dreaming it up long before that! I’m excited to finally be able to share it with you! Bringing all of this together would have been impossible without help from some amazing creatives:

Press & Palm – I don’t know where to start here! Working with Andrea to craft my new brand was a dream! I was indecisive when it came to nailing things down and she was the perfect balance of patient and encouraging along the way. Andrea studied my old brand and took the time to understand the direction I wanted to move in. She helped me craft a brand strategy that feels aligned with my business vision and goals. And on top of all that, she helped me customize my website template. If it weren’t for her help with that, this website would not be live today! 

The Write Lens – Photographer friends – if you’re looking for a copywriting magician, reach out to Erika. If it weren’t for Erika, I’d still be staring at a blank Google doc while trying to write my About page. Erika helped me discover how to better connect with my clients and finally put my brand’s mission and values into the right words. 

With Grace & Gold – Kelly and her team where incredibly helpful when I was indecisive about choosing a template. The have a huge collection of beautiful well-built templates and I never would have been able to get the new site up this quickly without their help.

My amazing support team of creatives, friends and family who have listened to me talk about this for countless hours over the past few months. Thanks for letting me ramble on Voxer, testing the site, giving me feedback on brand elements, and encouraging me through this next step in my business. Forever grateful & thankful!
