I’m excited to share some dreamy DC engagement photos on the blog today! Monique Yvette & Orlando were so fun to photograph and I absolutely cannot wait for their big day in June. These two are getting married on Juneteenth in Richmond, Virginia. They wanted their engagement session to take place somewhere that would speak to the overall theme of their wedding. We decided on a sunrise session at the Lincoln Memorial! I’m convinced you can never go wrong with a DC engagement session.
Monique Yvette and Orlando showed up to their session looking like movie stars ready for their red-carpet debut. I have no doubt they’ll do the same on their wedding day! They met on OkCupid in 2018. After a Hawaii proposal and a few covid related wedding changes, they are ready to jump the broom on Juneteenth. As you know, I’m all about bright and vibrant images; Monique Yvette and Orlando make my job easy by having such bold personalities. I know their wedding is going to be such a joyful day to photograph.
