Time for another Fall engagement session! If you couldn’t tell, I’m finally getting around to blogging all of the fun shoots I got to capture this past Fall.

Timara & Derrick were referred to me by one of my 2017 brides and halfway through the session, I actually found out that Timara graduated from UVA. I don’t know if it’s because I’m finally a senior but I’m extremely sentimental and excited when I get to photograph fellow Wahoos.

I loved capturing these two; they really knew what they wanted for their engagement session and that made my job so easy. I met them in Richmond, Virginia where we started at Belle Isle for their dressy outfit and then headed over to Carillon for some more casual photos. I loved their outfit choices – always remember the complementary colors and cute heels. They included their daughter and the cutest little puppy in their photos.

For those of you planning Fall weddings or engagements: People always mention that they want to make sure they get the Fall colors in their photos before it’s too late. We did this shoot in early November and while leaves had fallen off of most of the trees at Belle Isle, we found ONE perfectly placed tree at Carillon for us to finish the session with some beautiful Fall colors.
