Back in September, I had the pleasure of second shooting this lovely Quirk Hotel wedding in Richmond, VA with Hannah of H Marie Photography. Hannah is a sweetheart and I had so much fun shooting this wedding day alongside her.

It was a very rainy day, but Allyson and Binit focused on what was most important to them: being with the people they loved and starting their forever. Their family and bridal party rallied around them to ensure they had the perfect wedding day despite having to make a few weather related adjustments. During his speech, Binit’s best man reminded the couple of a Hindu saying, “a wet knot is harder to untie.” Another reminder that rain on your wedding day is seen as good luck. This was such a sweet reminder that despite some changes in the day, Allyson and Binit were now MARRIED and that was well worth celebrating!

I wanted to feature some of my favorite moments from Allyson and Binit’s wedding on the blog today because their wedding day reminded me why I love what I do (and of course, the Quirk Hotel is absolutely gorgeous, I kind of just want to live there!).
