Today’s blog post features a bit of wedding inspiration for the couple looking to create the unexpected.
I had the pleasure of working with Michelle from Exclusively Exquisite Events for this shoot at The Barn at Timber Creek. She’s an innovative Richmond based designer and as soon as she reached out to tell me about her vision, I knew I had to be a part of this. Unfortunately, Covid pushed our timeline back a bit, but we were finally able to bring this styled shoot to life. With the help of Kendall from Mahogany Hill Events and a team of wonderful RVA based wedding vendors!
Our editorial shoot had a bold vintage glam look because we wanted to create a wedding inspiration that people may not expect. Barns don’t always bring the idea of “glam” to mind, but Michelle’s vision for this shoot was to challenge that narrative. I love that these images give couples new ideas about all of the design possibilities for their wedding day!
This shoot was featured over on Munaluchi Bride, but I wanted to share a few more of my favorite images here on the JVP blog. You can check out all of the amazing vendors below:

She was so easy and calming to work with, as it was my first branding session. She led me throughout the way and the images are perfect! “
"I am certain that because Jontell got to know me and my brand up front, it allowed her to capture exactly what I wanted.
