I’m sharing my latest Cleveland brand session on the blog today! Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Anna, the owner of Root Apothecary: a skincare brand committed to creating natural, effective skincare products that are high-quality and accessible to all. The fun (and slightly challenging) part of this session was that Anna wears a lot of hats in her business and we wanted to tell a cohesive visual story for all the brands under her umbrella.

Seriously, Anna wears so many hats! It was cool to see how effortlessly she switches between her multiple affiliate companies and all the branches of her brand. From creating education on herbal remedies for period pain to chemically engineering her own skincare brand, she has a seamless way of bringing all her passions together. So, my goal was to ensure we also did the same thing on camera!!

Planning for the Perfect Session (With a Side of Props, Outfits, and the Best Kitchen in Cleveland, OH!)

We had to make sure every little detail was perfect, from the props to the outfits to the backdrops. While I spent time outlining out storylines for the session, Anna did a wonderful job of organizing all of her props. The cherry on top? The gorgeous kitchen space we rented! We couldn’t have found a more perfect space to highlight Anna’s focus on wellness and natural product creation. It helped bring out the fresh, organic feel of her brand.

Why Brand Photography is Key for Product Based Brands

This session was definitely a highlight of the year for me. Whether we’re telling the story of a product, highlighting a personal brand, or creating dynamic content for multiple businesses, I love helping entrepreneurs like Anna bring their vision to life with photos that encompass their brand message.
