Katie & Matt are UVA alum (if you’ve been around the blog for a little while, you know I can’t get enough of sweet UVA love stories) and I’ve been lucky enough to know Katie since my first year of college. I remember when she first told me about Matt during one of our discipleship sessions!

They’re my first couple to chose a cozy, lifestyle session for their engagement photos and I LOVED IT! The session was so laid-back and it allowed me to get to know a little more about two these two sweethearts. I always tell couples to “pretend as if I’m not here” when I want them to just focus on one another and Katie and Matt managed to do this perfectly!

We headed outside to capture some of the Fall foliage at the end of their session and I’ll never get tired of Fall engagement sessions in Charlottesville! I can’t wait to see these two say “I Do” in the spring! Enjoy some of my favorites from their session!
