I am so excited about today’s blog post! I love styled shoots because they allow creatives to collaborate and create beautiful work that will inspire future brides. As a photographer, I get to carefully focus on all the detail elements of the shoot to create final images that showcase everyone’s talents and hard work.
Nilsa from Emerald Events by Nilsa planned and styled this entire shoot! She is an amazing planner and it’s always so exciting to see how she’s going to bring a vision to life. This is the first of two shoots that I got to photograph for her in 2018, and I’m so excited to share both with the world! Our original plan was to create a garden glam styled shoot, but Virginia weather had other plans. It rained almost all day on the day our shoot was scheduled, so we adjusted into Burlington Plantation’s gorgeous ballroom.
From the getting ready space to the simple and charming grounds, everything about Burlington Plantation radiates an understate elegant. Featuring some of the best vendors you can find in Richmond, Virginia (and our friend Jenna in New York who made the invitation suite), this shoot is the perfect inspiration for a couple looking to incorporate blush and fresh green blooms into their classic ballroom wedding. Also, it’s perfect for couples who want inspiration for how to have their dream Burlington Plantation wedding.
This shoot was featured over on Virginia Bride Magazine, but I wanted to share a few more of my favorite images on the blog. You can check out all of the amazing vendors below:
