This was my last wedding of the 2017 and a Harry Potter themed wedding was the perfect way to end a wonderful wedding season. Louisa and Grant’s Hermitage Hill Farm & Stables wedding in Waynesboro, VA featured gorgeous florals, a beautifully crafted golden snitch cake, and one classy and creative couple. We started the morning at the Iris Inn before heading over to Hermitage Hill for the ceremony and reception. It was an extremely cold and windy day, but Louisa and Grant’s friends and family worked hard to make sure everything came together seamlessly.

My favorite part of this wedding was finding a new little Harry Potter detail every time I looked around. I managed to photograph all of the details before turning the shoes over to see they had one of my favorite Harry Potter moments quoted on them. They fittingly named their bar “The Three Broomsticks” and used recycled book pages to create some of their ceremony décor. These two were very detail-oriented and it made for a day that was not only beautiful, but also incredibly special for them. They managed to incorporate all of their favorite details in such an elegant way.

Louisa and Grant, thanks for choosing me to capture your wedding day. It was an honor to be able to capture all of the special details and moments. I hope that your images are forever a reminder of the love that surrounded you two on your wedding day.
